Staff Training Workshop (Rockpooling)

Service Description

*** BRIDGEND OR VALE OF GLAMORGAN STAFF ONLY *** Join Beach Academy Founder Emma on the shore, to learn how to deliver Rockpooling to your learners. You will learn how to protect the living things found there from injury, disturbance and destruction and why, now more than ever, we need to. Our planet's biodiversity is in decline and we must do everything we can to respect, connect and protect the living things that exist around us. If you plan to take groups Rockpooling, it's a must training session. Help us protect marine life on our shore by becoming a Rockpool Guardian. This project is funded by the Nature Networks Programme. It is being delivered by the Heritage Fund, on behalf of the Welsh Government. *** PLEASE READ CAREFULLY *** - Must arrive 10 minutes prior to starting time. - Rockpooling can be uneven and rocky. Please mind your step. - All equipment is provided for your training workshop - Wear appropriate clothing and footwear, training is outdoors. Slip on footwear like flip flops we advise against. - No dogs or children at Beach Academy adult training sessions. - 3 hour training workshop led by Beach Academy staff. - Council parking charges may apply at this beach, please check. - Photographs will be taken throughout the session, if you do not wish to be featured, please inform us before the session starts.

Cancellation Policy

You will only be refunded if Beach Academy cancels the session. No refunds for client cancellations.
