Rockpool Restoration Project
Funded by: Vale Local Nature Partnership
The ‘Rockpool Restoration Project’ is returning rockpool habitats along the Vale coastline to their former condition and natural state by the removal of any tangled, trapped and sunken marine litter from rockpools and their surrounding intertidal rockpool zones.
Activity: Rockpool Clean Ups, Biodiversity recording and a piece of permanent artwork made with the litter collected.


Mission Microplastic
Funded by: Millennium Stadium Charitable Trust
If you would like to get involved in removing tiny microplastics (1-5mm) from beaches, Mission Microplastic gives you the opportunity to loan the correct kit from us at no cost from 1 day (at Rest Bay Porthcawl) up to 2 weeks if you take it away. All instructions are included and step-by-step- guides to how to undertake the missions on the shore. Aimed at any age with enough kit for one class (30 people)
