2-hour weekend workshops
Develop your school curriculum with Outdoor Lesson Training. Time is precious. These practical 2-hour professional development workshops are packed with easy lesson ideas so you can take learning outdoors and use a beach.
Full instruction is given on lesson safety, planning, content, equipment and ideas and are suitable for any primary school teacher or professionals working with children. Training at Rest Bay, Porthcawl.

For qualified Forest School Leaders wishing to lead Coastal School. This Agored Cymru top-up training course enables you to use what you already know, develop new skills and knowledge required to apply them to the coastal environment to plan, run and evaluate CS sessions for children.

Coastal Training for students
Students attending Universities or Colleges can enjoy an ideas packed Coastal Training Day with Emma, covering many topics to take into the classroom or childcare setting. This taster day is rewarded with a certificate of completion that can be added to portfolios and student days can be tailored to suit. Training takes place at Rest Bay Porthcawl, or your own local beach on request.

Workshops for staff that work with young people
Emma offers training workshops for non school staff, leaders and educators that work with young people and children wishing to develop knowledge, confidence and skills to deliver lessons outdoors using a beach, either as a classroom or, as an educational resource.
To learn how to use a beach, you need to be at the beach. Workshops are held at Rest Bay, Porthcawl.
